b8.5 driver door issue

okay guys so one day i was getting out of my car and my door handle didn't work, I'm pretty sure the chord just broke, but my question is would the dealer charge to fix this? if so would it be cheaper to take it to the dealer or to just diy it?

If they did not fix this under warranty I would be extremely surprise, and extremely pissed!

yea so would i! but i just figured i would ask to see if anyone has had the same issue just in case lol. but in that case ima take it to the dealer tomorrow and see what happens :)

Dealer should cover it. The cord or spring probably disconnected inside the door.
