Rear Brake Rotors & Rough idle

Is there a way to check if I have 245mm or 255mm without taking off rotors? I had surgery on my hand a few years back and temperatures have been well below freezing and I don't have a heated garage. So taking the wheel off to check would cause me about 2days of bad nerve pain in my left hand/arm. I've searched high and low and haven't found a sure fire way to check without measuring.

Also I still have a pretty rough idle I've been trying to cure but it's not throwing a code. The only code I have has been lean on bank 1 since I installed a test pipe and the rough idle has been happening since way before that.

    Things replaced.
    Coil packs
    Spark plugs
    All check valves
    Breather tube
    N75 Valve
    MAF sensor
    Diverter Valve

I recently found a youtube video of a guy with the same problem, he replaced the breather tube and breather valve and it fixed it. So when I order my brakes I'll be ordering the breather valve as well. (Only $12 so why not)
Any other possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.

    Brake Rotors: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...=1#post7357617

99% chance you have 245mm rotors. My 2004 1.8t had 245mm and everyone else I know with a 1.8t has had 245mm as well.

When I replaced all my PCV stuff, and check valves and vacuum lines, my idle improved significantly. I know my 3-way check valve was leaking, but my SJP was pretty much shot as well. Replacing those helped. Its annoying spending all that money on stupid plastic parts, but think of it as a ~8 year maintenance item...

I suppose I could have a local parts store measure the thickness without taking the wheels off. If they're 12mm I have 255, if they're 10mm I have 245. Still need answers to the idle problem. =/

Have you checked your vacuum lines and PCV hoses and valve?

Thats literally what I posted above, except the OP apparently didn't want to follow the link. Or read my post at all.

Oh no I wasn't mad, haha. More that the OP apparently didn't want to click the link with the info he needs. I guess I could have copied my post from that link, but what's the fun in that.
