I just purchased a new to me Audi 2003 Allroad. It came with the iPod cable already installed. However, I can't use it... or rather don't know how. Searching hasn't really helped me. I found out it sees it? Turning on the radio holding button 4 says "CDC Connected". Any help would be appreciated!

YOu have to have an Ipod plugged in, and hit the CD button to select out of the in-dash CD changer- CDC should be correct. Then it should show track# etc.. If you got a good one it'll display track names and text in the cluster display.

I believe you have to have a CD and Magazine in the changer for it to work if it's the IPOD integration I'm thinking of. People trick the head unit into thinking the IPOD is a CD changer, but in order to get the head unit to identify a changer, it has to be loaded. I might be confusing this with the mod for older BMW's so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
