Where is Audi Canada Recall VIN lookup Site ?

Hey Guys,

Any one know if Audi Canada has a VIN lookup link for recalls and TDSBs. Audi USA and VW has one.

Transport Canada lists the following link in their website, but it goes to Audi's genuine Parts and Services link,

Is Audi Canada not providing this information openly in Canada or has the link changed ?

Yes it is secret now, they do not want you to check , you must visit the dealership so as soon they find something wrong with car they can take care of you quickly..
You can contact Audi Canada and provide them your VIN and they will tell you if there is any recall on your car..

The US site won't work on Canadian vehicles. I tried. There use to be a link on the Canada site but it's long gone.

Not that I know of. Same problem with Canadian BMWs. I found a US link but no Canadian one.

just register your VIN at Audi Canada. someone from audi care called me and told me I was on their list with my current contact info and I would be notified if there were any recalls ( airbags )

I contacted Audi Canada. They told me a recall was in place for the Airbag Warning and Emergency Hand Brake Warnings since July and to schedule an appointment for this recall work.
Recall work completed this past Wednesday and the Airbag Warning and the Emergency Hand Brake Warning are both gone from cluster display.
Airbag Control Module was replaced. Part # 8K0 959 655K
Audi Action (Recall) Code - 6901
NHTSA Recall Code - 16V376
Transport Canada Recall code - 2016246

I think the owness is upon yourself. Just go to the Transport Canada site and plug your VIN in. I wouldn't be waiting on or expecting the federal government to make an extra effort.

Audi Canada doesn't have a VIN lookup for recalls. I think they delegated this part to CARFAX...for whatsoever reason known only to them
