That's probably an insurance in case something happens. I'm not really on the up and up on B5s, but business-wise, I am having to deal with a lot of vendors that won't guarantee their products if it's taken beyond what it was qualified to do. Running a different turbo certainly would be in that category.

This. Not really the "size" that is the issue more or less the fact that the WG pressure is different 12psi vs 8 on a K04(usually)

I mean I guess if you really wanted you could run it with an MBC..But don't be cheap get the right software for hardware. Contact Daz he does good tunes and for a great price.

As you discussed with Steve, we do not have a specific "production" calibration for use with the Bosch 550cc injectors and Frankenturbo's you're currently running. We do offer a Stage 2+ calibration for OEM inj, OEM MAF housing and RS4-K04's, but unfortunately as others have mentioned already in this thread, due to the difference in WG preload/response, that cal. won't provide optimal results, allow for proper boost control, or run well with your Bosch 550cc injectors. Sorry! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly; or Steve if you prefer to discuss in French.

Not saying its the best idea with all the fairly priced options nowadays, but parallel mbc might get you by.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

Looking strictly at the turbochargers, not fueling, it would depend on what boost profile they tuned the K04's for. A tame dc like APR ran would not have the F21's operating much beyond 24-25 psi. I used a k04 wgdc tune to start tuning on my F4H's and nothing extreme happened, it just wasn't as good a match as you'd aim for when tuning the car.

Actually i boost 20-22 psi so i guess that can do the job for couple of week, I hope so haba
