As his been mentioned and I can tell you from experience, don't go aftermarket springs. If they are not designed to work with your current dampers (especially the non-sport), they will overwork your shocks and your ride will become bouncy. The OEM Sport, S-Line, etc. suspension will improve your car's handling with minimal loss of ride quality however, as has also been mentioned, it will not give you an aggressive lowered look. I agree that coil-overs are the way to go. Many have raved about the Solowerks. They are on the lower end price wise and evidently designed with aesthetics and ride quality in mind over performance. I purchased the Stassis Ohlins coil-overs right before Stassis went belly up but the handling and composure are quite amazing (but they do let you know when your driving over angry roads). Plus the dampers are designed to be rebuilt. Otherwise, I have heard Bilstein PSS10s and KWVarients are amongst the top in the market. No matter which coil-overs you choose, the advantage is that the system is adjustable giving you the opportunity to actually choose your ride height. The dampers are designed for the springs in the kit and on top of all this, it gives you the opportunity to corner balance your car, providing equal weight on each corner. Then when you turn your wheel, the car is even in both directions. At least that is how it was explained to me. When you do swap your suspension, you will want to get an alignment. By the way, adding the proper upgraded sways and adjustable end links (love the Eurocodes) will turn your car into a twisty road ninja!
