Carbon Fiber Trim Question

I have a friend at work who is looking at buying a 09 6 speed S5.

He wants the carbon fiber 5 piece trim, what should expect to pay for the 5 pieces? (Probably used)

I saw a use set in good condition on eBay not too long ago for abour $800. For that price though there's shops (specifically one here in San Diego that I go to) that can take the old trim and make new carbon fiber pieces for less using it as a mold. The old pieces would be trash however... but still sellable with a vinyl wrap over the damage

My car has it, and the center console piece is warped and scratched. It looks nice, but I'm not all that impressed with it. I want to replace it with oCarbon parts, but it's pretty far down my to-do list.

oCarbon will also give you a core charge if you want to go that route. I think it's like $200. He might get more just selling it on eBay though.
