^ I agree with everything you said. I wish we could tell what tire is actually low. Someone mentioned before you could use the wiper stalk to see what tire but I have yet gotten that to work. Do you know if that is the case.

I know Carista is available for Android and iOS devices, but I'm trying to find out if it will ever be available in the Windows store, for use on something like a Windows 10 tablet (Surface Pro 4) or laptop. I've emailed Carista Support a couple of times with no response, and nothing on their website. Does anyone know?

I received a response from Support about Carista on Windows:

Thank you for your interest in Carista. We do not have support for Windows devices, only for Android and iOS ones. We may add support in the future, but we cannot promise anything at the moment. Let us know if you have any more questions.

I was a beta tester for Carista and then had a full functioning app. Now I cannot do anything with the app, said I need to buy it, when I had a full feature app a while back after the beta test. Emailed support over and over. They are clueless. Gave up trying to go back and forth with them, none of their responses made any actual sense.

Before they went to subscription mode they offered a back door to be able to purchase the lifetime subscription

Even as a beta tester I had to purchase the app but I was grandfathered into lifetime subscription

So glad i purchased the $20 version when i did. Saw that its $10/week or $40/year (with maintenance options included.)

I believe I had done that. WIth one of the last updates it reverted back to not being able to change any settings. THey have been unable to do anything about it so far in support over and over going back and forth.

Check your App Store purchases if it's there they should be able to honor ur purchase

Quick question. If you clear a code for something like a check engine light, can the code and fault light still come back on later if the problem persists?? I would worry about clearing a code then having something major happen down the road if the problem actually was more serious.

Quick question for anyone using the iOS beta- I just got an invite and I cannot "purchase" any of the pro mode features. I emailed their support a couple days ago and no response yet. When I go to make the purchase, I get the prompt that I've attached here. As you can see it asks for apple id and password but there is only a single input

EDIT: Disregard. It appears Apple has been having an issue with their Sandbox for in-app purchases.

Did you manage to get the windows open using only the door handle? I can close the windows/roof with it, but it doesn't seem to open. I have it enabled in MMI and works with the key fob long press.

will the Carista OBD2 Bluetooth Adapter and the app provide IAT accurately? Will it be easy to set up or there some formulas that I will need to plug in? Or does the OBD fusion easier to work with? As u can tell I have never done logging before and will like to start with the most user friendly setup.

^ Carista doesn't do any type of parameters. The only way you are going to get true boost reading is to use a boost tap. There is a great thread on logging with vcds. Read up a bit so you understand before asking a million questions. You need to log with vcds to get what you need.

Unless I cannot find it, is there an option to have ALL exterior lights turn off when the headlight knob is set to OFF? Currently, putting the knob to OFF still keeps the daytime lights on (whether it's day or night outside).

Sometimes when it's dark outside, but I want to leave the engine running (ex: waiting for friend, but cold weather) and not keep the lights on, I put the knob to OFF. However, if the daytime lights remains on, it's kinda pointless.

Ok, but will that turn DRLs off all the time or only when headlight knob is off? I think the MMI solution is strictly to turn the DRLs off completely.

I somewhat agree with you. I was hoping to roll down the windows with a long grab of the door handle. But after it didn't work I began to think if I really need or want it to work with the door handle. A long press of the unlock button on the key fob is a deliberate action to roll down the windows and cane be done from inside the house or walking to the car to give it more time to get fresh (cool) air inside. A long grab of the door handle while unlocking doesn't give as much time for fresh car to enter the cabin and may not always mean you want to roll down the windows. You could be you give a long grab of the handle while finishing a conversation to a friend and it would be somewhat annoying if the windows start rolling down if you live in a cold climate. Or grabbing the handle while you try to remember, 'when was the last time I washed my car?' :)

After some thought, I decided it wasn't a big deal for me if the door handle 'unlock' didn't roll down the windows because if I wanted the windows down I normally do that while walking to the car from 40-50 feet away. That's just my two cents.

I downloaded the latest app from the app store just yesterday, received the Carista branded obd2 adaptor today, hooked it all up and enabled the hidden menu via Carista.

I then reset the MMI and when it came back up the ADS or Individual options (efficiency, off road, comfort, dynamic,etc) were there but grayed out. When I clicked on them I received the message "the selected system is currently not available." I'm really hoping I'm just missing something because the whole reason I purchased the app and subscription was to adjust steering and throttle response for my non-ADS car. You downloaded the production app or you signed up for beta testing ? 2 different things I believe ADS is only in beta at this time

Hi all, 2012 S4, I just enabled ADS drive select step 1, ADS drive select step 2, "show engine option in ADS menu" and "show steering option in ADS menu" using carista. I then went into the hidden green menu, went into cardevicelist, checked the "Charisma" box, then backed out to car menu and realized that I did not have the "carbusassignment" option needed for the next step. See pic. What am I doing wrong?

My 2015 S4 does not have this parking feature.

I only use my Carista to reset the oil change settings every 10,000 miles. I don't like paying the $10 for 30 seconds of use, but cheaper than using the dealer. I have heard they are other obd2 adapters to reset faults that are free to use. ??
