Lots...the ability to read manufacturer-specific codes alone is worth the price of admission. The email reports also include human readable titles and descriptions which is awesome.

I agree with you. I bought into the Carista thing and would have rather spent the money on Vagcom cable. Carista only helped me with two or three things.

I bought the other wifi unit for carista, the blue one for iOS specifically. It took about 30 seconds to show up in my wifi screen. Can you see if the dongle is powered with the key off or on?

I ordered the wifi dongle, downloaded the app and plugged it in. Worked like a charm. So I said I wanted to get the pro version. It said it was an in app purchase. So I go through every option looking for the place to upgrade to the Pro. Nada.
So I go to the website, Nada. Send an email to support. Nada. I even tried Twitter , you guessed it, Nada.
Does anyone know how to get the pro version for iOS??

I need a little bit of help here.

I ordered the wifi dongle, downloaded the app and plugged it in. Worked like a charm. So I said I wanted to get the pro version. It said it was an in app purchase. So I go through every option looking for the place to upgrade to the Pro. Nada.
So I go to the website, Nada. Send an email to support. Nada. I even tried Twitter , you guessed it, Nada.
Does anyone know how to get the pro version for iOS??

You need to disconnect from the app wifi and connect to your regular internet connection and make the purchase.

Otherwise the phone thinks it's connected to the Internet when it's actually connected to the dongle. The Pro upgrade is an in-app purchase.

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by this. When you purchase our Pro Package for $19.99, all current functionality in Carista is unlocked. You can change customizations and run full diagnostics on all ECUs, as well as reset fault codes.
What do you mean that it lets you know you need to purchase a cable? Carista doesn't work with cables - it works with wireless devices - WiFi for iOS and Bluetooth for Android. Or did you mean that because the functionality in Carista is not enough, that means you need to buy our competitor's product? If that's the case, well, I'm just gonna say that we keep adding more functionality to the app as we go along, and the purpose of our app is not to serve professional mechanics, but rather average drivers who want to personalize their car experience. We accent a lot on the usability and ease-of-use of the app and we believe that is one of our main competitive advantages.

That's weird - the wink setting should definitely work. Did the app show any error messages when you were changing that setting? Please email us and/or send a report through the app so we can see what's up. Thanks. Certain other settings like the windows-down-via-remote require you to also activate them through newly-available menu items in the MMI. That part sometimes requires a restart of the MMI.

Yes, our iOS beta is going to be out shortly. I know I keep saying that, but this time it's literally planned for today and assuming Apple doesn't slow us down, it should be available almost immediately.

YES!!! Please give it a try and email us or post here to let us know how it worked. Keep in mind that it's experimental, so it may not actually work. But it shouldn't cause any damage.

The popup message says "oil service" but it actually resets the entire service indicator - maintenance plus oil. Does your car currently have the service due reminder on?

Hey Todor. Yes, the car had the service due indicator on. I used the reset button, but it only applied the reset to the oil change readout. The service indicator readout still shows that service is due. Thanks

I've had the same thing happen to me. It'll only reset the indicator on the MMI. I still get the "pop up" indicator on my dash display.
