Why TSW Wheels? Their probably my last choice for wheel company and design.

Update, I found your answer about 0% interest. If money is an issue then go for your options, but there are a lot of people in the community that keeps selling their old set of wheels, which can always save you money.

Nice, Solowerks? Let me know what you think of them. Also for wheels, check out 1010tire for some cool stuff. Orr call Kevin over at VMR, he can help you get a good set. Be warned, VMRs tend to be a little softer however.

Yes SoloWerks... I keep hearing people say VMR's, but I don't want what everyone else has or the typical look. I have race car already, this is my daily and I want to keep it classy and subtle!

Well money isn't the issue, I would just rather use someone else's money and not directly out of my pocket right now... I have some trips planned and need the cash in hand. I really hate using the one CC I have. IDK call me crazy, just always been that way!

Yea those are some sweet wheels. I'd get a set for my Avant, I had no idea they came in 19" variety...thought it was only 20". I first saw them on this ride...

I wasn't really suggesting the BBS, but more of the color contrast to your car.

Spacers do go a long way if you haven't decided on wheels, specially since the car is now lowered.

Well it's been a while since I posted anything and had any thing to really update. Just been enjoying driving, taken a road trip and it's been a great car!
I did have a minor mishap with some road debris being ran over by some !@#$ which could've been avoided very easily and without any danger to anyone. Besides there was no one else on the freeway. It completely trashed my RS4 grill, nice chunk from the lower portion of the front bumper, and a really big dent which was almost a hole in the hood.

So I got a new hood, grill, and repaired the front bumper flawlessly.

While it was in there, I had them fix majority of the little dings and scratches with some paintless dent removal, clay bar and buff the car. Dave's Body shop which is the only Audi certified body shop in SLC (per the dealer) did an Amazing job, and when I get my side skirts they will be painting them and installing them!

Now onto some other news...

If you've looked through this thread, I've been contemplating wheels for some time now. Well I finally pulled the trigger on these, and I'm loving the way it all turned out.

Dude, I'm not even sure. I saw it in my driver side view mirror as it went flying out from under my wheel! It looked long and skinny, didn't feel like much at all?? Apparently it was something made of kryptonite!!

A few updates:

Got the new wheel after a week+ and no driving because I seriously was surprised the tire never lost air pressure!

So I did one of a few garage projects to make room for working in the garage, and as I'm sure you're all in the same boat, parts, wheels, etc start to pile up!

Still not 100% complete. Need some 4x8 sheets of particle board for the 2nd level right side, and entire top shelf.


Getting a steady stream of deliveries: :D


Some of what's inside, still not installed. Still waiting for my Eurocode IC kit to come in!


Most exciting part! Thank to my good friend and AMAZING fabricator / welder Jasen Penman @ JP Autoworks here in SLC, UT. (If you're in the UT and need ANY Audi (German car) work. This is your guy! Not the cheapest, or most expensive, but it will get done right the first time!!

Made some great progress over the last couple days. Got everything tacked, fitted, hangars in place, and tips set.

Late night last night finished welding everything now that it's all set, Polished the straight pipe in the center, finished bending the hangers and attaching them completely.

- Stoptech sport rotors, Akebono Euro ultra premium ceramic brake pads & painted black calipers.
- Replaced driver rear wheel

That's funny. I'm not sure how I found out about them but that's the shop I've been going to and why I asked was the bay looked familiar. He rebuilt my top end after a cam followed failure and also did my timing belt. I'll probably be back in there before long to get a clutch as well.

That's awesome! Jasen is a great friend of mine. I was referred to him years ago by another really good friend. I needed some new IC piping made for my other car. Been going to him since then! he does great work.

Oh Man, It sounds so good! He did a great job with preventing any drone, not sure what you mean by booms? Sounds great through-out the rpm range. Sounds even better in WOT and between shifts!! :D

Small update!

Finally installed my R8 coil packs, NGK iridium plugs & CTS catch can.

Both really easy installs. I will say that the instructions online for the CTS can aren't the best, but good thing for it being fairly self explanatory.

I hope niche worked with you on replacements. I just bought a new set of wheels, and almost settled on a set of Niche verona's until my dealer told me that he has had a crazy amount of complaints about niche. Structural issues and finishes. They should replace the wheel at no cost.
