    Anyone lift a B5?

Hey guys I'm new here. I have searched the forums but couldn't find anybody who has actually lifted their A4.

I have a 2000 A4 Quattro 1.8T base that I drive exclusively in the winter and Minnesota has some of the worst winters in the country. I would like some more ground clearance but not positive on how to do it.

I don't want spacers due to extra spring tension and coil overs just sound expensive for a $200 winter beater.

There is a B5 avant Quattro 2.8 that is being parted out in my area and I was wondering if V6 wagon springs would fit in the sedan as a direct bolt on? I have a Jetta TDI and some guys on TDIclub have done this to gain ground clearance.

Are the mounting points the same on the two cars as far as the struts go so I could buy the spring shock combo and bolt on or would I need to use the springs on my shocks?

    Thanks for the help.

    Yep, look here

The parts used were pretty basic:
    ECS Tuning coil over sleeves
    Bilstein HDs
    Meyle front suspension party pack
    Ed

why say lot word when few word do trick.

Did you read the post or just the title?

I said coil overs are too expensive. The sleeve kit is $300 and bilstein HD's are almost $600. I don't want to throw over $900 at a $200 car.

I am looking at getting V6 wagon suspension for $200, will this bolt right up?

Isn't that the point... Hondas suck offroad, but audi torsen is great offroad... Your post is useless in every possible way.

O.P.- I am also looking to lift my b6 Avant, for better clearance in rallycross and general winter use. Hope you get it worked out! From what I've read, the b5 can use the c5 a6 struts, shocks and springs... Maybe look into that.
