how to check for adaptive headlights

    *turn car off
    *run naked infront of car

if the head lights follow you.. your car is possessed and you should probably trade it in

    Hmmm.

This is very helpful but will only serve to tell me yet another definitive way that I do not and can only wish I did. Thank you everybody that posted here, I learned a few things the past couple of days!

Don't forget that you can enable a "simulated" (meaning inferior) adaptive light function with your fog lights and VAG-COM. Turn the wheel at parking lot speeds and the fog lamp on the inside of the turn illuminates (pretty weakly I might add)

However, I just entered the PR codes from the car and do NOT see the adaptive light code shown/included.
I do not believe it is on my car as I really have noticed very poor cornering illumination at night--in fact I was going to bring this up to my dealer (believing it is a mal function).
So, what do I do---the car was sold to me with this feature (I bought it used last June --still under factory warranty) IF I can rely on the window sticker and IF the feature "Audi Adaptive light" equals this feature.

Anybody have any thoughts (have I been scammed?)
I think you've been scammed. Just an anecdote this company scammed so many people and governments about their diesel emission test big time. If they can scam the government how much more the small people. Don't you think?
