I ended up doing 225/35/20, I have the wheels on and the fitment is pretty flush, however the car looks like a monster truck at the moment. Once i get coilovers installed friday, I'll post some photos.

I think i may wait a while to lower it. roads in philly are terrible...and of course, trust the process
    ...
Also, if anyone has any thoughts...after getting the new wheels on, theres been a really loud obnoxious squeaking sound coming from the front tires when im turning into the driveway or a parking spot. It only happens at low speeds while braking and turning (almost full turn of the wheel). If I let go of the brake, the sounds goes away. Theres absolutely no issue during the remainder of the drive, even when taking regular turns or hard braking without turning.
Nothing like this happened with the stock setup.
Has this happened to anyone else and any advice?

Which of following spec gives more flush look without rub the fender.
    19 x 8.5 ET47
    19 x 9 ET 35
Car is not lower, which is a better setup?
    Thanks

Neither is flush. 8.5 +47 sits inboard and 9 +35 pokes. If you have to choose Iíd go with 8.5 +47 because Going aggressive and not lowering doesnít look right imo.

I don't sorry. we don't get the hatch here. use a straight edge & tape measure on your rear wheel to see what room you have, then use one of the online wheel/tire fitment calculators to see what will fit. I've currently got 18x8.5 with 255/40 all around which fit fine on my sedan, lowered with front camber plates. I have a set of 18x9 ET30 that are going on next, probably with 265/35 up front and 235/40 in the back.

On a sedan I would guess it's somewhere between 5 and 10mm safely....it seems when people run spacers the rears end up about that much wider to sit nearly as flush as the fronts. Hatch should be fairly comparable I would think. When I was thinking of running spacers and measured I figured I would run 12.5 in front and 17.5mm in the rear....but I ended up just ordering new wheels instead.

I used this thread to plan out what I was going to do for fitment and figured I should share.

How tucked in will 8.5 ET 47 be?
HRE flowform is having the sale and they only offer these 2 offsets

Iíd say 8-10mm inside of flush.

The 19x9 +35 isnít an official S3 fitment like the 19x8.5 +47. Itís recommended for MLBs like S4 or A6. It will certainly work on the S3 but it all depends on the look you want. They also have 19x9.5 +45.

Will 9.5 ET 45 be a better fitment? Might lower with springs in the future but certainly don't want to rub or roll the fender

Just did some test fitting for the upcoming summer. Maybe -3 to take care of the poke? Thoughts?

Gotta get the lowering dialed in now.

I got my wheels on the car!

    9J 235/30/20 ET32
    10J 245/30/20 ET 45 + 5 mm spacers = ET 40 .

Its rubbing but the car is very low.
Im looking for stiffer springs in de back for my KW coils
And do a little bit camber in the front. of smaller tyres.

Last solution is roll the fenders.
