I know this is the S3 Wheel Thread (Cannot find an A3 one). But i see most of you are rocking the 19x8.5. Anyone have decent specs when it comes to a 19x9 wheel? Buying some wheels for the wifes 2018 A3 ASAP and see alot of variations here. Thanks in advance! Currently looking for my S6 as well and thats a whole different ball game (20x10.5 ET37 Front/ET47 Rear) lol

I run 19x9.5 ET45s with 5mm spacers and 245/30/19 tires on my S3 which doesnt have the larger front fenders. I am lowered on MSS springs.

Car looks great man. When the set up is on I’ll lyk for sure about moving up to a 35. Do you know approx how much lower than stock those mss go (trying to compare to the H&M). Looking for fitment like yours. Thanks brotha

Im only like 1" lower. The MSS Springs have adjustable perches so you can go even further but I drive the car year round and have 18s that go on in the winter so I did not want to have to rise and lower the car. I picked a two finger gap on the 19s when mounted and left it there. She could use some fine tuning but height wise but shes like 90% there. Plus in the summer I have a emd lip that goes on that pulls her even lower!

RS3s can run the 9.5 wide wheels without spacers because the front fenders are 10mm wider than the S3.

I am requesting photos of wheels on stock suspension for the S3. I'm trying to see how close of a wheel gap I can get without lowering springs.

put some fat meat on today along with new wheels on the S3

BC Forged EH171 18x9.5 ET45 - Sport 4S in 265/35/18 - There's about 2mm of fender clearance, and 4mm of strut clearance. no rubbing, rolled fronts, pulled rears.

(bonus pic of the 570s and the correct use of the frunk)

New summer setup, Aodhan ah-x, 18x8.5 +35 with 245/40/r18 Bridgestone Potenza Sports (they were on clearance on tire rack for $140/tire lol).

Stock suspension right now, but hoping i've got room to drop it on springs without rubbing.

Also have the center caps on the way haha.

2016 S3 mag ride with 034 springs. Wondering if this will fit without rubbing. I know 245’s are the way to go, but not a fan of stretched tires.

Sorry for this question as I’m brand new to Audi and my S3 but I need to ask it.. what’s a normal size upgrade for flushness on the 8Y S3? Like what width and offset sizes does it start to poke or not fit the calipers? Stock wheels now are 19 x 8” 49 offset. I’m not seeing much stuff on the newer 2022-2023 Audi s3’s

New to form and just wanted to know what other options I have for lowering springs. Currently have MMS coil overs on the lowest setting on my Rs3 but I still have about a finger gap. Is there any other options besides going full strut coil over. Had H&R springs but didn’t like the ride quality.

Can anyone confirm if 19x8.5 et 35 fit a 2023 S3 8Y on stock suspension (lowering spring will be installed later). If so , anyone has pictures ? What tires would fit perfectly ? Trying to fit a flush look without any spacers.

    Hi all, first time posting.

I recently purchased a new-to-me 2017 FL S3 which came with some mods from the previous owner. The car currently sits on Neuspeed RES102's in 19x9 et 40 square, with the factory 235/35/19 P zero tires.

The car has the factory magride, and is lowered on H&R springs.

I am finding the ride to be a bit too harsh for my city's terrible roads, and am weighing my options of either going to a bigger tire, or stepping down to 18's for next summer.

I am wondering if there would be any rubbing issues if I were to go to a 255/35/19? I'd be looking at the Falken FK510 as I had them on my previous car and they were great.

Apart from rubbing have been seen any downside from exceeding the factory rolling diameter?

I am having the magride recalibrated this week to see if it helps the ride at all.

    Thanks in advance.

Hello! I have a 2016 A3 saloon, 2.0t, Quattro, and lowered on H&R sports. Going to be buying some 19x9.5 +35 wheels and wrapping them in 245/35 r19’s. Going for a more aggressive/poke fitment and after doing as much research as I can, I think they’re gonna work. Might have to roll my fenders but I don't mind. Posting this incase anyone has any input as well as a reference for the future as I haven’t really seen anyone with this setup. I’ll post pictures when I get it set up. Thanks for any feedback!

Have the OEM 18" wheels which have bent badly twice now. Looking to replace. Everything on my 8v is stock currently.
Thinking of replacing with Hartmann for more OEM look or Vorsteiner. Either would be 19".

    Vorsteiner V-FF 105 19x???

    HARTMANN HRS6-091-MA:M 19X8.5 ET38

Vorsteiner has 19x9 for rs3 in stock but doesn't list the offset.

Leaning toward Vorsteiner if I can find this model wheel in a size that fits.

Anyone have 9" wide wheels on an 8v?

Anyone on AIR with 9.5J ET45?

So I'm wanting to go air (pushing the button this week) BUT I'm concerned that my current 9.5J ET45 wheels won't let me air out fully.
Does anyone have experience with this width and offset on airlift performance struts?

Are they wider/larger diameter than magride (I'm about 3mm away from the magride strut currently)

This is on an S3 8V Sedan. Current setup on Eibach Sportlines:

    VMR710
    19x9.5
    ET45
    245/35/19

    thanks!

    Hello everyone,

I purchased some used BC Forged with Michelin PS4S for $2600 cad, couldn’t resist with that price. I drive a 2016 Audi S3 8V

The new wheel set up is as follows: 19 X 9.5 ET 45 (front) and ET 42 (rear)
    Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/30/Z19

I’m trying to figure out if they will fit directly on the car or will I need spacers for the wheels so they don’t rub or would I need to roll my fender as well abit?
If I need spacers please help me pick the right millimetre for it. I am new to the wheel world. I just want the wheels to sit flush and not rub against the fender, I’m not looking for a super agressive stance either

    Thank you,
    Joshua

I posted something similar on the new users forum but thought I'd try it here as well. I’m new to wheel fitment and hoping to get some advice. I’m looking to buy an A3 8V (either 2WD or quattro – haven’t decided yet). I’d like to build a fairly modest daily, with a stage 1 tune, Bilstein B14 PSS coilovers, 18 inch wheels, and PS4 tires. I want the car to still be quite drivable and good for some occasional spirited driving in the corners. I want to keep the stock fenders (e.g., no fender rolls) and get a flush fitment. I’m looking at OZ Superturismo LM wheels, though these only come in 8 inch width with +48 offset. I’m considering 235/40 R18 tires. But to get a flush fitment would I need wheel spacers? Or should I consider something more aggressive with wider wheels and tires with a different offset? I found a similar wheel to the OZ - the Neuspeed RSE11R that comes in different widths with offsets.

I would like to run 17" winter wheels on my 2018 S3. Are there particular Audi wheels that will clear the brakes, or will I have to go aftermarket? Thanks.

    Thank you,
    Joshua

Sounds like an amazing deal on the wheels and ps4s. Iirc Paul from supreme power said a 265/30 19 ps4s fit on his rs3 with some minor fender liner messaging. But Michelins run wider than most to begin with. Would love to see pictures of these on your car if you’ve test fit yet. Worst case is going 255/30 19 or a 245/35 19 slightly stretched since you’re airing out.
