Thanks bud! I’m actually keeping the stock wheels for the winter setup. Blasted Canadian winters are brutal.

Just curious, what tires are you running with your setup? I'm running 235's but the stretch is making the ride a bit rough, especially with all the potholes in the GTA

Yeah, ditto, that looks great. Alzors? My S3 is black too, and seeing your pics I almost want to change my mind. I was thinking those, but wanted 18" for lighter weight and better ride. Got some 020's coming in 18x9 ET30. Will run reverse stagger 255/35, 235/40

Thanks guys. I've tried many looks. I think I'm good now. The wheels are VMR 710's. Why the reverse stagger? I'm curious.

This isn't a replacement for the RSB. That's a mandatory upgrade in my book. This is Stiffer bushings, RSB, Springs, camber plates, alignment AND Reverse Stagger. A lot goes into dialing in the handling. Even without the reverse stagger, the 235's up front just aren't enough tire for performance driving.

Reverse stagger is really just icing and not at all needed for the general driver. but it does a couple things for optimizing performance - The front of the car carries most of the weight, especially under braking. The rear doesn't need as much tire as the front, so it saves some over all weight and puts more rubber where you need it. It does balance the car a bit, but that can be done by other means. The different sizes also allows a bit of difference in tire diameter which affects how the haldex works, with the rears being about 1.8% bigger around than the fronts.

    The money offset

It’s ET35, Zito worked with me to figure out what offset we could push to get a 10 in the fender well.

Ever since that, Zito sells 10” wides to S3 owners all over now lol

A really good breakdown of reverse stagger. I actually get it. Thanks!!

What kind of fender mods are you guys running to avoid rubbing? I know the front fenders have this big bolt in the fender line that is the first one rub but how have you guys modded that? Pictures perhaps?

Most guys will just do the fender bolt, minor roll and trimming on the liner.

Me in particular, flared the fenders, removed bolt, trimmed liners. Both front and rear

Took some effort to say the least lol.
10 with a smaller tire is not a problem. Most guys are doing 255’s. Planning to up to a 10.5 and a 285 soon

Ok thanks. Any issues when removing the bolt with fender liner sagging or not staying in place etc? Seems too easy.

Dang, that's a lot of wheel and tire stuffed in there. Its "Hella Flush" for sure tho.

exorcist - is usually just pulling one or a few trim screws - not really "bolts". The liner is no big deal in general and there are lots of fasteners keeping it in there. That said, I personally wouldn't run anything so big as to rub and require rolling the fenders or the liner to be removed or cut back - that's just asking for bodywork issues IMO. To each their own though! I thought I was being aggressive with 255 on 9" wheels lol.

Hey Ordie, the wheels are Avant Garde M580’s (19x9.5-ET40), and I’m on the stock 235/35R19’s. Leaning towards going with 245’s soon though.

Mag ride was alright prior to me getting the H&R's.... now the car feels like a proper S car. Couldn't be happier... well coilovers would be the most optimal but they're also way more expensive.
