    Floor mats- which ones?

Thinking about the "digital fit" floor liners from Weathertech.

I had the original "monster mats" from VW in my Touareg, and generally liked them, but I sometimes wished for more protection along the sides- which the Weathertech floor liners seem to offer.

    What are other owner experiences?

I got A7 floor and trunk mats as parts of the deal so I'm using those. While they are not the best looking stuffs you can get, they don't bother me that much and I would rather spend money toward something else first.

I have the Weathertech's, the cargo matt stays in year round, the floor matts go in for ski season and get swapped out for S7 carpet matts in the spring. The fit and finish are top notch.

IME, the A7 rubber floor matts did not provide enough protection for snow and melt, but the Weathertech floor matts are just a bit overkill for good weather.

Nope, just the trunk liner. If I were in the market for floor mats/liners, I wouldn't hesitate to order Weathertech for those too.

CocoMats! I hate rubber floor mats, the look, the feel. I've been running CocoMats for several years in all my cars. Available in many colors, they are really thick and heavy, they wear like iron. The coco fibers are bonded to a heavy rubber mat underneath. All that debris that collects on carpet and rubber mats just falls through, once a week, take them out, turn over and shake, it all comes back out. Mats never look dirty. Water from rain or snow will also collect in the rubber under mat, same thing, just turn over and it comes back out.

The mats are hand made to order in South Carolina. They've been featured on Leno's Garage (Jay Leno has them in all his cars). Definitely worth a look! http://www.cocomats.com

I have 3DMaxspider floor mats that I really like. They are covered so they don't have the plasticky look of Weathertechs. However, I don't know if the sides come up high enough for you.

In my opinion, Weathertech is the way to go. I've had them in my Toyota 4runner for about 3 years now and they are amazing. They're great with melted snow and protect the carpet underneath which remains like new. I have ordered and am awaiting delivery of a set for my recently purchased A6, including the trunk liner. Best protection period!

The Cocomats look amazing but with our winters up here in Canada, I doubt they would protect as well.

Here are some pics of the Weathertech mats I recieved today. They fit really nice and should offer great protection.

Because of the lip that comes with the Weathertech mats, they are far superior to Audi's OEM winter mats.

The factory rubber all weather mats are not good for melting snow. they dont come up the sides at all. I like those weather techs. I have them in my 14 ram and will order them for my 16 S6
