Engine Light On [:(] Some Help with VCDS Codes

I hope someone can help me.

I was driving home from work today and my engine light came on. Car seems fine just the engine came one. When I got it home I ran it through VCDS but I can't decipher the code. I'm hoping someone can help me!

5646 - ROD - Unknown Error Code

Hi! Since no data is readable without a .ROD file, there is no way for VCDS to interrogate all possible Measuring Blocks.

In other words, you need a newer VCDS version to know about those errors, or maybe your installation was not complete and some files weren't copied. There is another possibility too that those errors are unknown for VCDS, but let's try first with a newer version.

Thank All70 I found this out after some googling. I have a newier cable on its way. The car is going in to the dealers today. I will let you know what they say.

PRV Was bad, they replaced it and now the CEL is gone.
