RNS-E Coding Issue - AUX input

Hi everyone. Having some issues recoding my RSN-E.

Background: B5S4 with CANGate, RSN-E PN 4B0 035 192 P, has been fully converted to US from Euro (after sw260 update - HU/Navi SW: V2220317, audio SW: A2220141-080807), 2007 maps (2010 on the way), previously had SW150

I recently upgraded to SW260 so that I could enable AUX, but when I attempt to recode the unit I get an error message that says "coding rejected. error 31 : request out of range". It doesn't seem to matter what I try to change the coding to either as the same message comes up for any attempted coding change. I even tried recoding it in our B7A4 and got the same error message. Does it matter that the boot version is V220100D instead of V222...? Any ideas??

I'm also having issues with the nav disk being read. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. Hopefully not a huge deal as I have the 2010 maps coming.

I know AudiForums.us would be the best place to post, but my membership hasn't been confirmed by a moderator so I can't post there yet...

I was able to get the recoding to take by using the Haggie method during lunch today

"Well, I finally solved the problem. I'll tell the story for helping anyone that could be in the same situation. My 2010 RNS-E rejected the Bose code xx9xxx as I already told. I checked all the cables and everything seemed to be fine. So I tried the Haaggie method: I erased the existing code (025700 if I remember well) and inserted 0111111. As expected, after doing that, the RNS-E stopped almost all services. Then, I tried to input the desired code 029700. REJECTED! I began to sweat. Tried again... Nothing! So I tried to enter the code one by one: 021111. OK! 029111 OK... and so on. Finally I could enter full the code, and now everything is working properly, including the Bose system."
