    b7 a4 2.0t limp mode code p2293

    Hey guys im new to Audizine just been troubleshooting my a4 and its driving me nuts, its going into limp mode under a big load like 4 5 6 gear. cam follower replaced HPFP brand new the only code that comes up on the reader is p2293 which is fuel pressure regulator 2 performance. the car seems to drive fine when not in limp it still gets up and goes. now every once in a while i get p2004 which is for the intake flapper anyone ever have that make your car go into limp and throw p2293? any help at all is great thanks guys

    Is that the VAGCOM scan result, or is it from a generic OBDII scanner? If it's not VAGCOM, get it scanned so you can see all the stored codes, not just the ones that cause a CEL.

    thanks kegobeer i was planning on hopefully getting the readout on vagcom tommorow just wanted to see if there was any other insight, the car likes to be sluggish when cold too

    Id just got that code recently. I FUCKED up AGAIN and didnt my cam follower every 15-20k. Wiped out my instake cam, APR HPFP, and follower. And 2k in the hole to . It will be ready this Thursday to down to H2O this Friday
    APR KO4, APR HPFP,RS4 LPFP Cntr,145 bar PRV, APR TP, TT DP, GFB DV+, AWE FMIC, BFI CC, AWE Exhaust, RS4 Exh tips, ST CO, 034 RSB,034 St Dnsty Mtr Mts, New Sth West Bst guage, B7 RS4 8 pot Calipers.Goodridge SS brake lines frt & rr. Hawk HPS frt & rr. RS4 PS rack, RS4 Servotronic Relay,RS4 rims. S4 mirror caps,DTM frt bmpr and rs4 fogs,LED tail lites
    S4 Recaro Front & Rear seats. Led Interior Kit,United LED's fog lites

    Oh yeah, that's right - that's one of the codes that signifies cam follower failure, isn't it? OP, I'd get that HPFP off and check your follower - or, if you are under 120000 miles you can just take it to your Audi dealer and have them check it out. It's covered under warranty and they'll replace all bad parts.

    OP states already had cam follower and HPFP replaced recently That leaves only the intake cam

    problem seems to be fixed no problems so far it ended up being the fuel rail pressure sensor. damn finiky audis. ill keep everyone posted if it comes back. but so far no limp

    Was this the HP fuel sensor on the HP fuel rail towards the front of the engine (above the alternator) or the LP fuel sensor on the HP fuel pump?
