Is there a way to turn down, or turn off the backup sensors beep/beeping? I like having a backup cam, but I don't like it beeping.

Go into your MMI settings and turn down the volume.

MMI screen>car>parking system>rear volume...then turn it down to min. You won't be able to turn it completely off though.
You can also change the tone by going to "frequency".

    Thanks for the directions!

I wonder if there is a way to completely turn it off?

If you want it completely off it won't be through the mmi screen. You would need to hunt down someone with a vag-com for that.

Well I don't have one, sorry.

Try looking up the B8 tech section, there's a sticky for "cool vag-com codes". There's also another sticky over at the B8 S4 section under "VCDS - hidden menu, complete list"...or look up Ross-tech's site to enable/disable the rear parking sensor. I saw something under section [76], but this was for the b7 platform. Might be the same for our b8's, I don't think it will hurt to try.
