Reisu motorsports is doing my tune with the stock ECU on 1000cc injectors and 95mm maf. Stayed 2.7 on this motor ,planning on doing 3L after I have a house .

Soon Billy.... Nick has been figuring out things like a mad scientist. I ordered new injectors so waiting for those to arrive and work out the kinks. Once it runs decent then new tune. All 3 cars may be ready around the same time.

Should be picking up the new motor next month . The last one was assemble incorrectly by an engine builder who was a tad too careless It drive for about 600 miles before we found the smoking gun .It was looking good too.
It started off like this


The top one was the right feed tube and the bottom is the one that was installed.

But the damage had been done

Because of this .

I guess you get what you pay for , that's what I get for searching gout a deal on "skilled" labor .

That sucks to see. I always tell people to go with engine builders who know these motors, even if they aren't as cheap as the local 'good deal' engine builder.

Damn. Is the previous engine builder fighting you over damages/costs? Engine builders really need to be OCD about replacing all gaskets and torquing every single nut/bolt and marking which have been torqued or stuff like this happens. It's sad to see. Glad you moving forward though!

Yeah for an engine build I make sure I use all new o-rings, seals, and whatever else it may need.
That was a real rookie mistake. Also something I learned the real engine builders and machine shops
will never use plasti-gauge! Ever!! They Mic up everything.
