    90-Degree Coolant Elbow???

    So putting my engine back in the S4 I broke this 90-degree Coolant elbow that connects to the rear passenger side of the engine and goes into the heater core. I can't seem to find a part number nor the part anywhere online. I even went to a local dealer and they weren't able to locate it for me either. So does anyone know this part number or where I can get it from? I tried to ghetto rig it but it's just not a reliable fit and not willing to risk it. Also, any tips on getting a clutch slave cylinder back in? This is probably the hardest thing I've done on this car... Thanks!

    When you swap that hose, the other end is on the driver side of the heater core. They criscross them for some reason.

    The slave is one of those things that takes experience or luck.
    You should be able to get it in with just your hands and clip it on the boss that it sits in by the hold down bolt.
    Look at this area on the trans closely before you try poking it in if not sure what Im talking about.
    If you think you need to pry on it with something, you prob missed the mark with the rod. It can be difficult getting it in there straight.

    BE CAREFUL the first few times you push the pedal. If it stops, dont force it!
    It takes a bit of feel, but it should feel a bit springy when it starts doin werk. If it stops rock hard, it prob missed the mark and will blow if you keep pushing.
    That last part can be a little tough, almost have to blow one to know the difference. Once you pop one, you will never forget what the pedal felt like
    There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

    PERFECT! Thanks so much, I swear I searched for hours to find it but no cigar. I appreciate it!

    @zillarob, Yeah.. I found out the hard way not to touch the clutch pedal when the cylinder wasn't installed. Hardly touched the pedal with my toe when I was installing the shift linkage and heard a pop and saw all my break fluid on the ground. Luckily the rod didn't decide to go in the tranny.. Thanks for the input, I'm gonna go give it another shot. I've spent 4 total hours trying to get this thing in.. I got the engine out in similar time. Lol. Once again, I do appreciate the help!

    It helps to put it in reverse or just push the socket with the orange boot in and back (1st?) to get a little straighter shot.
    Once you get the nose of it in, push up on the boot/rod to keep it straight for as long as you can fit your finger in there while putting the slave in.
    There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.
