Is there a tune on her? If so, What is it?!

Hey all,

Just wanted to throw this question out there before i dump some money on getting a tune.


Car 2007 B7 RS4


I bought my car used and it failed (NJ) inspection for multiple readiness statuses:

Engine Misfire - UNSUPPORTED
Fuel System - UNSUPPORTED
Heated Catalytic Converters - UNSUPPORTED
Secondary Air Injection - UNSUPPORTED
A/C Refrigerant - UNSUPPORTED
Oxygen Sensors - UNSUPPORTED
Oxygen Sensor Heaters - UNSUPPORTED
EGR Systems - UNSUPPORTED

Now I'm pretty sure that this car was tuned prior to me owning it because im familiar with certain tunes turning off different components in the ECU but i have no idea what kind of tune or how or if it is possible to figure that out

At this point I feel my only option is to go to the local shop and get the APR Stage 1 tune, as I have been told by them that this would solve those issues.

Any opinions out there on this issue? Thanks all

If the codes have been recently reset, you have to drive at least 25-30miles for the emissions system to be ready for a scan. That gives the computer enough time to calibrate. Otherwise you cannot perform the emissions test on the car and it will state not ready during the test. Not sure if this is your problem or not but it has happened to me. The emissions inspection place just said go put some miles on the car and come back.
