Just picked up this 2007 3.2 quattro with 100k. She's a little rough around the edges but drives great.

I'll be addressing some bumper rash and cosmetic things soon. I love the oem BBS 18's it has, and they are wrapped in new all-seasons. Plan to run a summer wheel/tire set up and get the BBS's back to good shape while they are off the car.

I also want to do something about the glaring orange side markers... Might just paint them color matched...

Or just tint them. Or wrap them in vinyl.

You need to post them on the web (photo hosting site like Flickr, Photobucket etc.) and copy the link. Then when you post here use the "Insert Image" (third button/icon from the right, with the dots in corners) and and paste the link to your photos in the URL line in the dialog box that shows up once you click the "Insert Image". The link will show in your post as .

Just remember that once you delete/move your photo on your hosting site (Flickr, Photobucket etc.) the link will break and your photos will no longer show on this forum.

No need to do all this cumbersome stuff if you use Audizine or Tapatalk on your phone. They let you insert images directly from your phone.

There is also a help page here:

New member. Here's my new to me 2011 TDI. First Audi and first TDI. My last car was a Mk6 GTI and before that a B5.5 Passat. No big plans for now, although I would love to upgrade the rather cheap Audi Concert stereo with an RNS E and get a set of the 18" Titanium edition 5 spoke wheels.

For a 9 year old car it's in good shape, with a few interior things I can fix. I need to give it a proper detailing and find some center caps for the wheels.

I miss having a manual transmission, but the 45 mpg on the way home helped make up for that.

What method did you use to cut out the plastic. It looks very good. I have the same or very similar part and have been intending to do this. I saw a post a long time ago in which one person drilled a bunch of holes and then connected the dots, as it were, to remove the insides.

I used a hole saw to cut it out in between the rings and then a dremel to touch it up. Had to take the bumper off to get the rings off.

Nothing too fancy in my case but did the job. Honestly, I didn’t like cutting it but had no choice, otherwise the grille would not fit.

The photos also show how I attached the licence plate to the grille.

Btw, don’t forget to paint the aluminum crash bar (black I assume) otherwise it shows through your grille. PlastiDip May work as it won’t chip.
