What's next after stage 1 and front rear seat bars

Hi guys, long time lurker first time poster si excuse me if I am doing something against convention. i recently expired my warranty on my used 2011 A 2.0t and wanted to enhance my drive a bit and despite weeks of reading and searching I am still undecided about the next step for my car.

I am already scheduled to get the stage 1 APR tune as well as euro code uss front and rear sway with end links by the end of next week however I have the urge to be a little more aggressive than just the tune.

What I have been researching is either a CAI or intercooler and a turbo back exhaust. I live near NYC so temperatures can swing pretty drastically tear round hence the cai or intercooler. With the exhaust I am afraid of not passing emmissions inspection. I was hoping you fine people can lend some knowledge and help guide me to a cost effective way to improve my performance.

    Best
    Peter

You can do a light weight crank pulley, turbo inlet hose by 034 motorsports, stage 2 tune..depends how crazy you wanna go

My best advice... just jump to a stage 2 tune and an HFC... it's the best investment.

I know some people will chime in that it will impact your smog tests... but run a mix of 100 octane and E85 on the day you smog and you'll run like a rocket and pass perfectly fine.

Honestly, a CAI isn't really exciting... except that you can now hear your turbo squeaking... and a larger FMIC isn't going to give you nearly the improvement you'll get from the HFC and it's about 25% the cost!

Other top performance choices... water/meth (if cooling is really an issue) and a K04 if you need more boost (for the record: I have both).
