    Do Q7 roof racks use a generic key?

    Dealer threw me a free roof rack when I bought the 2012 Q7 two summers ago. It never left the box and I'm 110% sure I've lost the key to it. What are my options? can I order a new key?

    yes...you should be able to order a new key from the parts dept. Call them to see what info they need to order the key......
