Hey there Im from Mexico and need advice about wheels / springs / coilovers

Just got the A4 B8 3.2L quattro with EDC and with that I dont know if that implies that I have non sport suspension????? and I was searching that not every coilover kit will work without sending an error on the ecu! Im thinking about putting on 19s RS7 replicas (im on 17s), I dont want the car way too slammed, thinking doing 1.5 drop maxx because here in Mexico the streets are not that pretty! Now, which is my best option?????

1.-H&R OE Springs and oem shocks
2.-Set of coilovers that dont send that error to the ecu (By all means tell me which ones will work)

Any store/shop in the San Diego area? Im just 50 miles south the border

And I just read all 27 pages from the "Show and Tell Your Suspension Setup" thread but Im still having my doubts

    Greetings

    George

Would suggest you go for the lowering Springs if you want to maintain your EDC or ADS (audi drive select).

If you want to use aftermarket coil overs, you need the DCC canceller kit from KW. It's not cheap, probably about 400usd or thereabouts. This is the only known solution to prevent the error code from showing on your car. Alternatively you can skip the dcc canceller but live with the error code every day when you drive.

Also if you have ADS it's likely you already have the lowered suspension (how low, I have no idea). Perhaps you can upsize your rims to 19s and see if the ride quality is acceptable to you first.

I appreciate your opinion, thats the kind of answer I was looking for!

Now IŽll have to try out the 19s and see how it sits and then proceed on to the springs!

    Thanks!
