    RS7 transmission

For all of those wondering, the ZF transmission is amazing! I actually like the dynamics of this better than the dual clutch, especially coming to a stop it is much smoother. The programming for sport mode is awesome as it really holds the gear for the motors sweet spot.

Ive never driven an Audi dual clutch, but on my RS7, when coming to a stop, the final downshift is a little jerky. Only 300 miles on the odo, so maybe itll smooth out. This is in comfort mode, havent tried dynamic yet.

It's nowhere near as bad as the dual clutch.

Yes, the double clutch is no where near as smooth as the ZF. I had a 2014 S6 before my RS7 so I have driven both. The S6 was much better once flashed but stock it was bad.

Oh the DRC makes the car! With my S7 I had quite a few situations that I felt the car was too powerful for the suspension, this set up is perfect! The car is firm without being harsh and makes the ride that much more confidence inspiring. Best way I can think to put it is this DRC makes the car feel half it's size

I'll trade you my S6 for you RS7. In all seriousness, I'm sure it's worse with the DSG.

I have not noticed an issue with the 2 to 1 shift. Does it happen in sports mode only?

I'm pretty sure that if Audi could figure out how to make S-Tronic safely handle that amount of torque plus the renown German over-engineer factor, they would put that into the RS7 and of course it would be jerky as hell compare to the ZF.

Regardless, it's good that you are happy with your RS7 and the transmission.
