My S6 is on US soil!

Ordered the S6 in my signature in mid December with the assumption it would take 5-6 months due to limited allocation of S6s in the US right now. All of the ones in WA state (especially around Seattle) were customer orders.

Went into the dealership (University Audi in Seattle) I got my A6 and ordered the S6 to check out a $192,000 R8 they had in the showroom. While there I ran into my dealer who looked up the date for me and told me the car (to his surprise) was on the ship already and on its way to the US. With an ETA of "sometime in March," I wasn't even paying attention until one day I saw this...

That's my car! Emailed my dealer and he told me it left Houston on Tuesday, March 18th! Should be here by Sunday/Monday and I'll be accepting delivery of it as fast as I can.

I asked the dealership not to peel of anything they didn't absolutely need to for PDI. I have a 3 day spa appointment scheduled at NW Auto Salon for a new car detail, clear bra and tint. After some pampering it will be going over to Achtuning for APR 1 stage 1 + Mobile and an AWE Touring Exhaust.

Can't wait, will post pictures as fast as I can. \o/

Beautiful, love Estoril blue! It's fun when the surprise means it will be here earlier rather than the usual delays huh:) Congrats and enjoy.

I heard from my dealer that S6 is in high demand and the allocation is very limited. I thought they kinda sweet talked me to feel good about driving something special and would lead me into buying a new car but your story confirmed that they told me the truth.

Emailed the dealer asking if during the paperwork signing if I'd be turning in the A6 as well and he said "Yes, and taking your beautiful new blue one :)" Looks like it arrived in Seattle today and got PDI'd. I'll be accepting delivery tomorrow morning. \o/
