    what about the outside of the fastener ? i seem to remember seeing that too and quickly realizing there is another way. cant quite remember what it was.

    I'm not sure myself, but I'll bet the front bumper has to be removed first.

    Ultima is right. A flat head screwdriver works just fine. There is a groove for it inside.

    Since installing my fmic, and removing stock stuff. No need to pull bumper to swap fog bulbs anymore. That was a plus, lol.
