The adapter greatly improves iPod/iPhone control over the completely dysfunctional stock RNS-E iPod adapter. It worked fine for me. I even used it with an iPad on a long trip once.

This Dension unit is an iPod / iPhone and auxiliary device. If offers song and playlist controls from the radio and steering wheel controls while never locking the controls on the iPod or iPhone. It also has a universal aux input that can take audio from virtually any device and play it on your factory speakers. This device tricks the radio into thinking its an external CD changer. Since it uses the external CD changer port it does not disable the CD or cassette in the radio. Just curious as to how your Denison iPod aux worked? Was the sound good and crisp when hooked up to iPod? Easy DIY install? I am about to purchase a different Denison product and don't know anyone who had one and was wondering how they were quality wise... I know they have their videos on YouTube for installation.

It is a hard line connection with the same transfer rate as the stock unit (or 6-disk). Sound is excellent.

Installation took less than 5 minutes. It is entirely plug and play. Enfig has installation videos for Dension products that are self explanatory.
