I know the feeling. The b7 S4 would be awesome but the cam chain tensioner failure potential keeps pushing me away. Save up for b8 s4?

I like the beefy looks, feel, and solidness of the B7 more. Got a '14 loaner of the 2.0T for two weeks and did not like one bit of it - especially with the interior ergonomics and everything that came with it.

I say b8, I love the updated looks.

The b7 s4 is gorgeous but I feel like it's a little dated

If I had to do it again, I would buy a 2007 again, or jump to a 2014 Audi A6. Just my opinion, and research on reliability
