Hi All,
Just wanted to take a few moments and introduce myself to the community. My name is Josh, I'm 23 and from Ottawa Canada. Last week I purchased my dream car, a 2007 Audi RS4 :) It was on a sunny day that I was contently cruising around in my 08 Acura TSX that I decided to stop at a used dealership that carries high end cars (Audi, BMW, Benz, Range, Porsche, etc.) to just drive through the lot and dream as per usual. I came across this clean looking black Audi RS4 and I was in aw. I had actually never seen an RS4 in person before but was familiar with some basic specs. I parked my car and started looking at it for a good 10-15 minutes liking everything I saw, not a scratch on her. During that 15 minutes not one sales rep came outside which I thought was strange, I walked into the dealership and all the sales reps were sitting on their asses more than likely watching Youtube videos on their computers. I actually had to walk into a sales reps' office and ask him if he could tell me about the car. I was slightly insulted but hey, I guess I don't fit the typical demographic for someone looking at such a nice car. After sitting in it, starting it and a few revs I finally got him to put the dealer plates on and off we went for a test drive. Although I am passionate about cars I have actually never driven a car with a V8/ four wheel drive combo, it really blew my mind! The fastest car I had driven up until then was my buddys' dads Corvette which of course is rear wheel drive and a 0-60 pull usually consisted of a few second burnout. Going back to the test drive, I drove around for a bit familiarizing myself with the clutch, adjusting the seat and getting a feel for the car (this took about 3 minutes) We got to an area of the road where there were two turning lanes and two others, I was on the far right lane at the time, revved through second and got into third switching through all four lanes to turn at the light. When we stopped, both our hearts were beating a mile a minute and my left foot on the clutch was shaking so bad I had to put it in neutral. After the test drive I knew I wanted her and would do anything to get her. I think it's funny how I was talking to a buddy about how my TSX will last me another 3 years and a few days later I'm buying my dream car. I believe everything happens for a reason - the car was mint, i got a good deal, my insurance was cheap, and the bank lent me the cash! - Thanks bank! I picked it up last Thursday and had plans to go skiing at Mont Tremblant early Friday morning. Let's just say I did not ski that day... I was up til 6AM working on it and making her mine. I plasti dipped the emblems at the back, grille at the front, wheels and smoked the side turn lights. Without further a due here are some pics, looking forward to making friends on here with similar interests and learning/ sharing how to make the RS4 better than the amazing car she already is. Cheers.
