Honeycomb detailing!

Been wanting to do this ever since I picked her up. All the cells in the honeycomb had built in dirt/dust from previous owner and just looked faded. It's definitely a tedious and boring job, but I figure today was as good as any day. Basically just used a few microfiber towels and Chemical Guys waterless cleaner for the initial cleaning..had to get a a grip of Q-tips out to really get the edges! After that I applied some Chemical Guys Blue Guard 2 to restore and protect (again used Q-tips to get in there). Here's how it looks midway through the job (only did top part of grille so you can see before and after)

Adam's In & Out spray works great for the grill. Only downside is it has zero durability, but it goes on super easy, just spray, wipe away overspray, and walk away.

ive sprayed mine black because of this, used so much trim shine on them too, just wash and go now

isn't it great when you start a tedious, time consuming job but once you finish there really is a big difference...

That definitely looks like a beer and tunes job.

I am very interested in how long the "Blue Guard" lasts. If it washes away in a month, then... meh.

I use it throughout the week to spot clean (takes 5 minutes) and it works amazing. haven't actually busted out the hose for over a month now, but my plan is to every few months.

Blue Guard prob will last a few weeks..we'll see. I also use it on my window trim etc..
