A few weeks ago I started getting a weird "thwok" noise in the cabin, it sounds like it's the suspension. It doesn't always happen when going over pot holes, but it usually happens when going over areas of the road that have buckled (either up or down) from the stresses of winter..
I made a (terribly-edited) video of the noise by sticking an iphone in the trunk on record and driving around. The first 2 sections are the sound isolated, and the third is driving around. You will hear distinct "thwok" noises (also look for text to briefly show up in the video). The third section is driving around, you can hear normal going-over-pothole noises then the same "thwok" sound when hitting a seam where the road has buckled.
Terribly edited video
Is this normal, a bad/damaged shock, loose bolt? It's driving me mad!
Edit: I should have included this in the original post, it happens at speeds as low as 14km/h and up. The noise doesn't get louder in relation to speed though.
