    need help. New to Audi.

    Hey everyone. So I just joined this forum. I am coming from driving a turboed Nissan Sentra and it decided to blow up on me last month. So I am looking at buying an S4. Anything I need to look at specifically when buying one? I know the B5 S4 has issues with the stock turbos being crap. Do I have to worry about the same thing with the B6? What are general issues with these that I want to look for that the seller might be hiding? Any input would be awesome! Thanks!

    My bad. I looked and looked and looked. I found all the issues with the B5S4 with the horrible turbos and timing issues but couldn't find anything that was a huge downfall for the B6S4. But thanks for the link

    That will get you started. Then follow other threads to info about potential carbon buildup and cylinder wall scoring and how to check for both when doing a PPI.

    That's B7 RS4 problems, B6/7 S4s don't have issues with that.

    Except for the timing chain tensioners and tendency for the cylinder walls to score.

    Make sure if you get a B6/7 S4 with quad turbos, they are sequential not cascading.
    Currently: 2017 Q7 Prestige 3.0 with APR tune.
