New Exhaust Installed

Hello everyone

I've been a long time reader over here and this is my first post. I hope you enjoy it

Just installed a custom cat-back exhaust. let me know what you think :D



the phone doesn't give it justice, it sounds much better in person

Bad azz! That is a proper sounding V8. My wife heard this and is fearful I will follow suit.

I have a set of Borla's on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it frightens neighborhood children.

VVG I'm not sure on how it was built. The owner of the shop did the same thing with his '14 M5. I heard it then immediately told him you gotta build me one.

I'll pass by this week and ask him..

Sounds great! Can you provide the name of the shop that did the install? I'm in Miami as well.

Exhaust options for the C7 A6 are very limited and I've contemplated going the custom exhaust route.

That would be great. The closest thing I can find to both the look and sound that I want is MTM but that will be anywhere from $5-6k depend on configuration. Alternatively, if you can get some pics of the underside of your car, we can see what has been done. Thanks.

Yeah the only exhausts I liked were MTM and HMS. They are both +5k! But they sound PERFECT

you're running no mufflers and stock resonator. I have a hard time believing that there is zero drone. sounds great though.

M305, would you mind please posting an audio/video clip outside vs. and indoor garage? Both from a standing start, and drive by? I'm guessing the concrete garage amplifies the sound a bit, not sure. Thanks.

I tried cruising up to 90 and there was zero drone. There is some drone at low speeds while accelerating

The garage does amplify the sound. The iPhone doesn't pick up the exhaust note outside, you can barely hear it. Even inside the garage its not that clear.

The only thing I don't like about it is that its always there. not that its loud but I wish I had a valve to make it quieter.

If I had to compare it with other sounds, I'd say its very close to AMGs
