Pretty sure I've seen b8 s5's do this too. Completely acceptable in my eyes.

My friend is running a Range Rover supercharged badge on the rear of his supercharged E46. I think its dope! Its just funny that this owner is using the audi badge given rivalry between BMW and Audi.

Has bmw ever supercharged an engine? I think the n54 was the first non-diesel, non-motorsport turbo application they've done.

I actually think that is an appropriate emblem if he's Dinan or Active Autowerke or Vorsteiner supercharged. A fine sleeper tactic. It's a warning to people like @PaperishPlastic not to start a 500,000 comment thread about nothing after they lose in a street race.

I ran a Supercharged badge off a Nissan on a previous car that I had which I put a supercharger on. I see nothing wrong with it as long as it fits and is visually placed. I don't think the M3 guy put this badge in the right place. He probably should have trimmed the carbon part off the badge and just gone with the Supercharged portion somewhere where it looked more like it fit, perhaps as a continuation of some other silver/chrome emblem or whatnot.

I'd have probably found a badge for the brand of supercharger he put on there and used that. There's too much of a rivalry between BMW and Audi for this not to be laughed at.

I'd have at least gone with a supercharged badge off a jag or something that's not a direct rival... these would have looked better I think off a Jag... plenty of other great looking supercharged badges out there...

Or do something completely unique and have custom badges made... if you can afford a 10k SC kit for your M3 you can do that...

I just knew someone would say it was acceptable. The car also had a large decal just in front of the rear fender low on the car of the local high-brow tuning shop, 3zero3.

I actually bought supercharged badges 3 years ago and I've never installed then, that's how sleeper I am. I debadged the 3.0T the week I got the car.
