    Hey guys,
    Just picked up this car, 2010 S4, most options, 40,000 miles . Basically my dream car I've been looking for . Been mostly a VW guy. I have a B5 Passat and a MK4 GTI , both APR tuned stage 2 cars . This is my new toy and project . It's also a 6 manual.

    So this car was special ordered by the previous owner, with 19" wheels, nav, sport diff, wood trim, 6 speed manual, Audi drive select, rear view cam and sensors,voice control-radio and phone, and a few more cool things I'm just learning about lol.

    $20 old guy ordered it before, so it's probably not been dogged a whole lot. The wood trim is the dead giveaway... I can't think of anyone younger than 50 who thinks wood trim is the shit. lol About the only wood trim option on the S4 that looks good is the new blackwood one that has silver/white lines through it. That one looks good. S4's with old-school wood trim just looks weird to me.

    That said, congrats on the car. Aside from a clutch weakness, you should be fine with it in MT6 trim... probably more so than DSG 2010 owners are. As long as you drive it properly the clutch will be fine for the most part and if ever it needs chaining it's easier to work on those than on the DSG units anyway, so win/win.

    Well that's nice to know, the wood trim is kinda rare. It was actually an old lady that owned it. She owns a vineyard and a winery. I like it, It reminds me of my friends old B5 S4. Retro but new. The car was for sure babied. Not beat on and serviced at the dealer. Records to show maintenance. Weird that the Rack was replaced a month ago due to leaking. And was covered under warranty. Anybody familiar with this ?

    Nice find! That's the way to buy a used car...from someone who you suspect didn't drive it all that hard.

    Recommend getting the Eurocode short shifter installed. There are a couple of good/basic mods people will recommend, but for 6MT owners, that one is a must.

    Thanks Brooklyn Ya Im pretty happy so far. its an amazing car. Its funny how there is such a difference between a Vw Passat and a Audi. The quality and the feel of the car is way different. I love our V-Dubbs but this thing is in a whole new category. I will have to check out that short throw option. When I did that to my Porsche it made a huge difference !!!

    Nice guys . Ya I like the wood as well. Thanks for all the comments . It's nice to hear all the opinions . We just love it so far . Is anybody driving these cars having any problems with carbon build up yet ? We've been seeing more direct injected engines coming into my shop with carbon build up problems . Not in the S 4 tho.
