    Thumbs down No Apple CarPlay Planned for new Audis?

    iOS 7.1 came out today with CarPlay capability. No indication that VW/Audi is planning for it yet.

    According to Apple, only the following automakers are making it available in 2014:

    Ferrari
    Honda
    Hyundai
    Mercedes-Benz
    Volvo


    ...with these manufacturers have on deck:

    BMW
    Chevrolet
    Ford
    Jaguar
    Kia
    Land Rover
    Mitsubishi
    Nissan
    Opel
    Peugeot Citroën
    Subaru
    Suzuki
    Toyota

    I hear Audi has partnered with Google, considering we already use Google Maps I dont think it'll be too much of a problem. Not to mention when Audi revealed their self parking A7, that car used Nvidia's Tegra chips that are already used in Google phones.
