I'm still working on it an might be changing the mufflers to something a little quieter and hope I can get rid off some of the drone, this set up has a lot of it unfortunately. I did not have much time to take pictures of the build as it took me 3 days to cut and weld everything together, but I will post the pictures that I have now and will add more pictures and videos when I gets a little wormer here in NY.
I will start to back and try to explain where what is:
so here is the section after the y-pipe that splits it into two Magnaflow mufflers, the driver side starts with a flange and piping, and another flange that joins together the passenger side, the tips where not on at this point

here is the section that connects to the y-pipe, goes into a resonator, then to the flex section before that connects to the high flow cat (remember im going back to front) all the sections are connected by heavy duty flanges with aluminum seals, I did this so that I can easily take any part off if I need to. I will explain the hole in the next few pictures

After putting everything together I started getting resonance or more commonly known as drone at around 2.8k-3.2k RPM's, so I started to search for a fix, I came across a thread here on Audizine in the B7 section where someone used Helmholtz pipe to fix it (J-pipe), its basically a caped off pipe that is adjusted to a particular length to reflect the drone frequency back at itself, what in turn should cancel it self out. Instead off trying to figure out the exact length I made the pipe adjustable so that depending on the length I can easily change the frequency until I can find what I need. Space was an issue here so it had to welded on between the flex section and the resonator and extended towards the back of the car.

the Helmholtz pipe consists of two pipes on a size smaller in diameter then the other, this way it can slide inside and be adjusted. Its held by a clamp:
The capped of pipe

The larger diameter pipe that is welded onto the system

The clamp that hold these two together and allows me to adjusted when needed

I will get more pictures of the whole set up as soon as it gets worm and I can get under it, I will also take a picture of the high flow cat, please excuse the quality of the pictures as most where taken with and iphone and the middle of putting everything together, so I didn't really look for a scenery to put behind them. I only have a quick video of the exhaust taken on my gopro, the car is extremely dirty after all the salt and snow and I will post better one hopefully this weekend. If I missed anything or you have any questions feel free to PM me or just post here.
