For sale is a 2007 Audi B7 A4 2.0T quattro sedan with 91,xxx miles. Silver exterior with a black leather interior. It's optioned simply, including a sunroof, aforementioned leather interior with power drivers seat, 17" double spoke wheels, 6-speed automatic, and heated front seats. My sister bought the car in January 2009 with ~20k miles on it, and a CPO certification. The car was maintained by the dealer throughout the warranty period, and by Drive Auto Works in Clifton, NJ thereafter - all of its maintenance is up to date (will detail items below; car has extensive service records that I can send once I can figure out how to PDF them). As a general note, the car has been maintained very well - synthetic oil changes with Audi approved oil every 5k miles, and all maintenance has been taken care of preemptively. The car has (and is) her daily driver, shuttling her back and forth between school and work, and has never left her stranded. But she's gotten the new car itch, and is looking to move into a GLI, hence the sale.
Recent Maintenance (past 12 months):
- New Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires (235/45R17): ~90k miles
- Coolant Hose Flange/Seal/Coolant Flush: ~90k miles
- Wiper Blades/Oil Change: ~90k miles
- Valve Cover Gasket: ~80k miles
- Coilpacks/Spark Plugs: ~80k miles
- Upper Control Arms: ~80k miles
- Timing Belt Kit: ~80k miles
- Front Rotors/Pads: ~80k miles
The Good:
- Exterior is in great shape; car is detailed frequently, no dents or scratches
- Interior is in great shape; no weird smells, all the switchgear works and isn't peeling, leather looks great
- Maintained above and beyond factory specs; new tires, timing belt, etc.
- Service records!
- 60/40 split fold seats; something that's very useful and often overlooked until you don't have it anymore
- Glove box works properly; the hinges were repaired with metal brackets, and the shock was replaced with a new unit
- No modifications - its very stock
The bad:
- The car was (gently) backed into a year or so ago by a CR-V with the spare tire holder on the back. The damage was minor (hood was a little crunched, grille was cracked), but the body shop replaced the hood, grille, and repainted the front bumper. The paint matches the rest of the car, and the work was impeccable. She has records of the service, but AFAIK, it was not reported on the CarFax.
- The wheels have curb rash. For the right price, she'll have the wheels refinished and/or powder coated for the new owner
In light of all the recent maintenance, service records, and condition of the car, she's asking $10,500 OBO. For this price, the wheels will be refinished, and she'll include a second set of OEM rubber floor mats, and a Dension Gateway iPod/iPhone adapter (displays the text on the radio and works with the steering wheel controls). Car is located in Summit, NJ; more than happy to discuss transportation and/or fly/drive options if you're not close by. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to email or PM me.
I will update this once she send me pictures with the car cleaned up, assuming it eventually warms up. Apologies in advance for all the dirt/road salt.
