Will this work? long story short an ice rut got the best of my flex pipe and I want a TT downpipe for my b6 which I just had the flex section replaced on a year ago so I would like to if possible re use my old downpipe on the winter beater. Both cars are 1.8t 5mt quattro cars.

If you're replacing the down pipe on your B6 anyway, you might as well try to bolt the other up and let us know your results. I would imagine they would be close.

Funds are a little lacking right now after buying new tires and rs4 reps and I can't end up having to buy a new b5 downpipe too after dumping 250 on a tt dp.

I've looked at the pictures and they look very similar but I can't find any good pictures that give me approx dimensions

The B6 down pipe is longer since it has to pass under the cross member that holds the transmission in place. It will most likely hit the thin cross bar that goes between the sub frame on the B5.

Shows the two pipes side by side. I don't think it'll fit either now.
