It's rite where the little ball connects into the handle set up, has anybody ever figured out something to improvise other than a whole new cable, tried a few things not working too well so any ideas will help.
    Thanks

same thing happened to me and i happen to fix it yesterday. just buy a new cable and snake it through by pulling the old cable.

I tried that but it isn't working... And I may just have to buy a new one but I'm trying to avoid spending 50-70 bucks.

All I could seem to find was new, but I'm looking for my specific model... I'll do some research and see if I can find another year that fits, hopefully I can find a deal like that...

Yes, get used. Then make sure that you lube the cable system well. If the cable or the handle snaps then the system is under excessive strain, lube it. Had to do the same thing.

just replaced my broken hood latch last month. 40 bones at the dealer. Wont be doing that again. I lubed the shit out of the cable. Although, for some reason I need to manually push the hood latch back to its resting spot. It wont return itself.

How did you go about snacking yours through? I've read you need to take the tire and liner off?
