Awesome pictures! I've wondered what the internals looked like. Now I know...now I know. Way fancier than I imagined.

I see the last pic has your custom work on top; I hear drone in your future. Can't wait to hear about the results regardless and am glad to see someone take on a project like this.

In the section just prior to your xpipe, is there a particular reason you just didnt use one section of pipe on each side as opposed to the multiple ones you welded together?

Yes Guitarmageddon but while I was doing some calculations I made a mistake , that is why you see to many soldering.

Great job! Maybe you could make plans so others here could do the same.
I would be totally into making one.
What type of welding are you doing?

I'm not QA for welding, but ut looks great! Assuming you're in Germany like your profile says, it's kind of funny that the motherland of all our cars doesn't allow an aftermarket exhaust. :-) Keep it up man, in for results.

HOLY CRAP!!!! You sir, have more than just skill, you have God-given talent! that deserves to be on display, not tucked away underneath a car where you can't see it. I'm a certified welder, and I couldn't do that high quality if tried... Damn you are good!

I agree it looks great. I'm a AWS certified weld inspector and I don't see any flaws from the pics. I'm a pathetic welder myself but I know what it's supposed to look like.

    Hi guys...
Big thanks for the props ... !!
Will make a little vid this weekend for sure ...

Some test I have done since I got the car , I like to test every part and see what its does .

    Stock best

    6 degrees Celsius
    70% humidity
    93 v power
    no spare wheel and tools
    1/4 fuel tank

    0-100 5,7 seg 0-60 5,4seg
    0-200mts 8.9 seg at 130,2 km 80,90 mph
    0-400mts 13.8 at 164,7km 102,33 mph

    100-200km 15,3 seg

Piggie pipes Best( main cats intact)

    5 degrees Celsius
    78% humidity

    1/4 fuel tank

    0-100 5,7 seg 0-60 5,4seg

    100-150km 5,5 seg
    100-200km 14,9 seg
    0-200km 20,5seg.

Piggie pipes and 2,5 xpipe catback ( best so far)( main cats intact)

    14,5 degrees Celsius
    79% humidity
    93 v-power
    no spare wheel and tools
    1/4 fuel tank

    0-100 5,5 seg 0-60 5,1seg
    0-200mts 8.8 seg at 131,4 km 81,65 mph
    0-400mts 13.6 at 167,2 km 103,9 mph
    0-1000mts 24,7 seg at 214,1 km 133,1mph
    100-150km 5,5 seg
    100-200km 14,7 seg
    0-200km 20,2seg.

For every 10 degrees aprox its about a tenth and almost 1mile more ( trap speed) and about 8-10whp , all this test its done via p.box ( Racelogic) on the same track.
The catback its good at the same temp and humidity 1 to 1,5 tenth and about 1 to 1,5 mile of trap speed , good improvement over the oem catback with just piggie pipes , now its time to take the main cats out and see the diff ,one question over here how much more do you think it will improve without the main cats? I know with the JHM tune the car will wake up but I still questioning to take or not the main cats or not...
    Thanks.
