I am sorry to bring non-audi topic to this forum, but I have been searching but there was no clear answer

I would deeply appreciate if anyone could provide me with some info

So I returned my leased Genesis Coupe November 2013, and just today I got Notice of Delinquent Registration - Final notice

What do I have to do with this?

Do I take it to the hyundai dealer?

There is also $337 fee? do I still have to pay this amount?

Any info would be helpful, I live in CA

    thank you

You were supposed to turn in your plates and cancel your registration. Did you register the same old plates on the new car?

I did not get a new car I had my a4 and genesis coupe, and I just returned genesis

I signed few papers, but I did not sign any dmv papers now that I think about it

I just checked my credit report, and does not seem like it affects my credit although the fee was due 2013 November, and notice date was February 2014
and this is my Final notice, so if I don't do anything it will probably go to collections and destroy my credit

Probably going to check with the dealer tomorrow....

I would contact your local DMV instead.

Contacting the number or email on the Notice, or the dealer about the paperwork, would get you a lot farther than posting on an internet forum.

if you returned the car with plates and everything still attached i would assume the dealer would take care of it and be their responsibility. It seems like something slipped between the cracks I would call dealer and dmv to inquire. If it's the dealers responsibility as part of the deal they would be liable to pay the fee.
