any DIY ? i searched ..... probably not hard enough but gave it effort.

my motor is off my car currently so i want to do the while its "easy"
when i remove the compressor do i have to remove anything else or add anything new to it ....

also which belt should i use and how would i install it ?

    thanks
( sorry you will see me around in the forums with questions i cant seem to figure out even after searching )

Just remove everything AC related. Condenser, pipes, hoses, dryer, compressor, cooling fan ect. I would leave the evaporator in place because it's a bitch to get to. You'll have to use a shorter belt too.

There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

You may have to do some trial and error with belts. I did when I deleted the clutch fan pulley.

had to bring back 2 belts before i got the right size when i belted off my A/C just a heads up. You could use some string to get a rough size and minus an inch or two for the right size. Can't remember what the measurement is though off hand, and will also be different if you dont have a mechanical fan. (CPT obvious i know, but you never know)

True, 1610 is for ac delete and efk.

I know VonHa has efk now, that post may be from before he put it on.
