    Front fender end cap

Does anyone know what the point of the fender end cap may be? When you open the front door and look at the hinges, it is the black piece of material that caps off the fender well. Mine is missing and I am not sure if this would help quiet the cab any if I find a used one to replace it.
    Thanks.

Do you have a belly pan installed? That can cause more cabin noise. How about the sound deadener under the hood?

Neither is installed nor did mine come with the deadener under the hood. I noticed more road noise on the passenger side that has this piece missing, so I wasn't sure if it stopped turbulance around the gap in between the front of the door and the front fender. That's probably way out there but ya never know with these cars lol.

Yea, not sure about the 'fender cap' but I know for sure the sound deadener under the hood and belly pan will definitely quiet some cabin noise.
