Is there a way to know which DV revision I have installed?

I bought a '07 A4 2.0T with 100k miles last July and I'm trying to fix/upgrade the parts that need to be upgraded.
Is there a way to know if the diverter valve is the latest revision?
Do I have to just take it out and check for any codes or part numbers?

    Thanks!

All revisions look the same from the outside, except the PN stamped
To be sure, pull it off

I agree with Phil, but if you don't want to pull it off, since it's a b**** lol, you'll be able to see the part # on the DV. You really just need to see the last letter of the part # which is easily visible. Look right above the wiring harness.

Oh cool, I didn't wanna take the whole thing off just to look for a number lol
Just to be sure, the last letter should be "D", correct?

Yep. When you are looking at the DV from under the car, the part # will be stamped on the drivers side of the DV, right above the electrical harness. It will also be upside down lol. But you'll be able to clearly make out the last letter just by rubbing some of the dirt build up off it.
