^+1, is this home made or otherwise? Seems like a ton of room in the market given current options are so damn expensive.

I agree. I'd buy a carbon fiber intake in a second if someone would get around to making one. I'd buy a non carbon one too, but haven't heard great things about USP's quality and haven't heard of another one on the market.
Sold: 2013 : Ice Silver, Carbon inlays, APR tuned, 21x10 HRE S101, AWE exhaust, Carbon fiber mirrors from RS6, Drilled rotors, H&R lowering module, Escort 9500ci, Ceramic brake pads, Deval carbon fiber rear diffuser, Xpel Ultimate, Opticoat

Good stuff. Glad to see others innovating. My car goes back to Brink on Tuesday the 18th. In addition to exhaust finalization, they will have the car for two weeks to develop the intake and heat exchanger...they will try dual cones, a full on air box etc...see what flows better and go from there.....Carbon Fiber planed.

Me and buddy made this, he have over 20 years of experience in composites ranging from aerospace to lifestyle items.
This is a really rough prototype through hand laid and vacuum bagged process. The collector chamber area is over 2 liters, it uses a 4" filter as is now, the filter will be located down behind the bumper for ram air effect and the intake itself weights around 1lb!!!!

That looks great, Did you use Foam for CF vacuum and then melted it to clear ?
